This is a poem I wrote about my friends.
The friends that surround me today,
have molded and shaped
that essence which people call Crissy.
They have built this mountain upon which
they have formed who I am.
Without them--
I am only skin
they are the bones that keep me straight.
Even if we don't talk much,
they all have their own impact.
Katie, Josh, Brian, Doug
They all have their own place
Atkins, Kroll, Scic or Herzie
Even if I call them by their last names
they're still first in my book.
Chet, Chappie, Uncle Tom or even OJ
Age is no barriers, Friendship comes first.
Pomie, Amy one and Amy two,
All have a special place so close.
Even Cale and Peter, okay Kea too.
That distance means nothing
our closeness will never part.
No one will be closer then Angie
Some say we're twins at heart,
well try and be me then.
A Twin I am,
and damn proud might I add.
Then you have the school group,
even more those who stand out
the true leaders--
Anna, Annissa, Danielle, Ilee and Marge
Joe, Neil, Brandon, Nate, and Chuckie boy
GB and Dave
Our time in Florida will never again be matched.
There's always time for best friends
Erin might have came and gone but she's still has a place.
Then along came Katie, I won't let this one slip.
Never can those boys be forgotten,
the angel in me shown through
Josh, Tim, Jesse, Derek
all had their time
some still have influence.
My second Family
Colleen, Brent, Wayne and Megan
They thought me what is was like to believe in something wholly.
Whoever the friend they all have their places,
all different but all imporant.
Give me a name and I will
tell you of a legacy which is mine
that they are weaved throughout.
We all have our secrets,
They are the keepers of my
deepest and inner most thoughts and fears.
The pride that goes behind my friendships
is beyond words for you have given me my life
and for you I would give up my life for yours,
that is how much friends means.
